Heat Pump Best Practice (HPBP)

HPBP is an action item initiated by the Strategy Committee of the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) in autumn 2002, aimed at demonstrating the essential benefits of heat pumps concerning primary energy saving and CO2 emission reduction and thereby encouraging the market introduction in Europe.

The purposes of this initiative are:

  • to gather and compile information available on heat pump related best practice according to the categories listed in the website navigation
  • to analyse and evaluate these information, set up recommendations for most successful heat pump application, and disseminate appropriate information materials to targeted groups
